It’s our first Fall season and birthday to celebrate (helllllo 25!) in our new state. It’s been an dreamy autumn so far and our trip headed up north the coast was no exception. We chose to stay at Tops’l Farm in Waldoboro, Maine – a quaint getaway of beautiful A-frame cabins and tents on a great piece of land.
Before cozying up in our cabin we spent the afternoon at Oxbow Brewing Co at their brewery / farm drinking some of the best Maine beer we’ve had so far.
Afterwards we headed to the coast to see the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse Park which included a Fisherman’s museum and of course, a very ~ new england ~ lighthouse with killer views of the ocean.
The rest of our night was spent driving around catching the sunset, eating lobster rolls and listening to the best 2000 hits (I mean, obviously) wrapped in 20+ wool blankets in our cabin.
The following day we headed to Camden, Maine to explore the small town and harbor alongside, the view at the top of the state park and the best local bookstores. Ryan and I had a much needed weekend filled with lots of laughter, joy and unreal fall views. Four years celebrating birthdays together and every year seems to get better. Looking forward to see what this Winter season will bring in our new home.
